Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Support the month-end and year-end close process
- Personal and Business Tax Preparation
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist with the implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial management initiatives
- Utilize accounting and tax software's (such as QuickBooks, ATX, Proseries) to record financial transactions accurately
Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong financial report writing skills
- Experience working as an accounting clerk or staff accountant
- Knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation techniques
- Familiarity with financial management principles and practices
- Ability to process payroll accurately and efficiently
- Experience in bank reconciliation processes
- Understanding of SOX regulations and internal controls
